Short stay in Bremen

Liked: The hotel is nice, it's clean and reasonably priced. The breakfast is very good.
Disliked: Stairs. Stairs to come to the front door, more stairs to reach the reception. If you have a room in the loft, more stairs from the 3rd floor. Not very easy with luggage.

A typical smaller German hotel...

Liked: A good place to stay that is near a residential neighborhood and the tram line. The parking here is free on the street, but they do have a lot for €5 per night. There is a lot of foot and vehicle traffic around the hotel, so I did pay for the parking lot. The check-in was easy and the reception person was nice and friendly. This is your typical German hotel with a small elevator, a lot of interior doors, tight stairs and small rooms. There was some construction going on, so some exits were closed and required a little walk to exit. The room was fairly tight, but the bed was comfortable. When we entered, the room was hot, but the windows opened easily and it cooled down eventually. There was a desk area and the TV was nice, but not a smart TV. The wi-fi was easy to connect to and worked well. The bathroom was nice and clean, but small and got tight at times, especially in the shower. The noise outside did die down around 10:00 p.m., but was steady until then. The tram stop was just a couple block walk under the street, so that was very nice. The hidden gem here is the breakfast. The selection is awesome and the staff is fantastic! They keep everything well stocked and are very accommodating. I think I would stay here again just for the amazing breakfast buffet!
Disliked: There were a few downsides here. The rooms were a little small and the area noise could be loud with the windows open, but it was nothing major for a bigger city.

Disappointing

Disliked: The room was not the one shown in the photo, it was a long walk along the corridors to the room.
