Good location, don't stay if...

Liked: Nice room and bathroom. Great central location. Breakfast staff lovely. Thought £17 parking for 24 hours in York ok. Stylish hotel.
Disliked: A lot of noise from other rooms above, children running around. Unsupervised children in pool while their Mum read her phone. No view from room 104 due to roof of pool. Reception staff didn't explain much. Hotel bar prices expensive.

Liked: Location spot on, breakfast great, pool lovely.
Disliked: Had a problem with paying for extras, computer wouldn't link to card machine but receptionist insisted on keeping trying and we were tired.

Liked: Breakfast was very good and exceeded expectations.The rooms and most facilities were clean and the staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Disliked: Noise at night, we couldn't sleep until the early hours of the morning on 3 out of 4 nights due to constant thudding from rooms above us and the air-con was making annoying noises too.The swimming pool water was very murky, considering it is fairly shallow, you couldn't see the bottom. It put me off using it. Also 25 mins per session was a little off putting but I do understand that it is a small pool with small changing area.

Disliked: The pool did not have a shallow end so my daughter could not go in the pool and as it’s a family hotel I would of thought there would be a shallow end for the kids
