Novotel Vines Resort Swan Valley

The place is beautiful but...

Liked: The resort was amazing the ambience was great the location was great , but so disappointed in the dining facilities.
Disliked: The main restaurant was. Closed for dinner and the open one was way too crowded. There was a 25 min wait to buy a drink and over an hour for food .

Liked: A great location with good facilities
Disliked: Needs a good clean. Walking the hallways panels dirty people are writing in the dust. So much potential for a great family fun resort but staff in bar are unfriendly. Asked if we could have sound on to watch football but told by bat manger she wants is quiet. Lots of people in there but no atmosphere so most left to watch in rooms. Again when musician played he was great but shut down early and he again was told to turn music off at 830 and wouldn’t turn on any music by centre. Again every one left bar area! So much lost revenue the bar was busy until then again. Have stayed before approx 2 years ago and was great unsure if we would again! We had 5 rooms booked between our group

A pleasant two nights with...

Liked: Family friendly and activities to keep the kids amused
Disliked: The staff were not helpful when we checked in and our room was outside the main resort but we were not informed at time of booking and staff stated that it was because we booked through booking.com

The Vines

Liked: Great view of golf course with kangaroos in the evening time. Beds were so comfortable. Great amenities in the apartment and milk left in fridge and teas and coffees there for use as well which was a nice touch.
Disliked: Food was not great. None of the family enjoyed it. The pool was freezing and not the cleanest looking, ended up with everyone at the pool in the hot tub.

Disliked: Cold swimming pool.Ground floor units can be in a wind tunnel.They also faced south.

A group of us stayed...

Liked: Beautiful setting, close to amenities.
Disliked: Parking was a fair walk away. Fire incident on property seemed to take a while to respond. At front desk other people were wanting to check in had to call out as front desk was unattended for a decent spell of time. Front desk looked closed.
