Liked: Modern stylish hotel in a central but quiet location, backing onto a lovely little park.Our room was a decent size.Bar staff were friendly & professional.The stay was good value for money - especially for a city centre hotel.We had dinner in the restaurant, which was a good standard and good value for a hotel.
Disliked: Our room was an accessible room, which we hadn't asked for, so there were a few issues - no comfy chair or sofa in the room; the shower head could not be fixed to the rail (had to be handheld). I fully appreciate that this is good adaptation for a wheelchair user, but it made our stay more inconvenient.The air-con in the room was very poor, so we were very hot overnight and didn't sleep well.Wine in the restaurant was expensive.Reception staff were quite slow - maybe in training?
