Unprofessional Staff

Liked: I have stayed in Novotel couple of time , every time thing are changing . Not in good way
Disliked: STAFF , is very unprofessional . Front dest . Charge me twice . Had to argue . Cash full amount and charged my credit card full amount . Dates 8.08.2025 . I have booked for 3 nights , only stayed for 1 night . Very disappointed

Liked: Very comfortable, clean, and convenient.

It was great

Liked: Room was extremely comfy, I like the fact they had cold water in the lobby to welcome guest. I think the room was a bit pricey - but overall had a good experience and the receptionist were nice and extremely helpful with every questions I had.
Disliked: The body wash soap in my room was empty. I think folks needs to check on that and refill when cleaning the room - I know they probably have limited time but that really is my only major complain

Convenient and would stay again

Liked: Location with subway just downstairs as well as restaurants and access to stores groceries etc. Adam at the downstairs restaurant was great with my kid.
Disliked: The pool isn’t anything special but clean enough and breakfast could be included for the price

Liked: Location was ok if you don’t mind traveling by sub. Takes 35 minutes to get to downtown.
Disliked: Both nights very loud parties happening in room next to us until 3:30 in the morning. Staff tried their best to solve the issue with no success. It was a bit weird having to go through the mall to get to the vehicle but no big deal. No designated smoking area at least I didn’t see one which leads smokers gathering in front of hotel sign and many are dropping their smokes everywhere something I can’t stand being a smoker myself. Would be nice to have bench and a designated area which would somewhat prevent smokers putting their cigarettes everywhere.

Exceptional

Liked: The location. Close to the 401 and really close to downsview Park for veld, outside the hotel is the line 1 TTC subway station. Lots of 24hr food spot to eat at in those late night getting in from the bars. 30 min drive to downtown Toronto. Many areas around that you can go on spot hero and fide parking cheap
Disliked: Only complaint I have is hotel parking is $21 per 24hrs and they automatically charge you for the whole stay instead of per day
