Novotel Sydney On Darling Harbour

Absolutely loved it!!

Liked: Loved the location and price. We also absolutely loved the lounge and bar area. So great for us as a family to relax. Plenty of space and a kids section.
Disliked: The lighting in the room was too dim

Liked: Location , perfect public transport available - Ferry , Light Rail and Bus
Disliked: Amount of building work going on nearby but was aware of that before I booked . Darling Harbour being redeveloped .

Great choice at Darling Harbour...

Liked: Always stop here when in Sydney as rooms are always clean with good bathroom facilities. Room service menu is good and not too expensive. The light rail and Wilson Parking are immediately downstairs making it somuch quicker and less stressful to get around as needed. Concierge is very helpful.
Disliked: Foyer area can be busy and noisy in the morning and early evenings.

Liked: The location is excellent, bar and restaurant lovely. The concierge were wonderful and such a good service. Very prompt, friendly, helpful and polite.
Disliked: For what you pay I thought the room could have been better. The beds are not big enough for a couple, a queen would have been very comfortable. We were told if we ordered an ice bucket through room service it will cost us $10 so we had to go down to the bar every time we wanted one to avoid being charged. Parking in the hotel is way too expensive.
