Novotel Surfers Paradise

Almost perfect

Liked: I loved the bed and the service was amazing, the view was so pleasant as well however I would’ve liked for it to be more beach facing if that makes sense :))
Disliked: The wifi wasn’t great and the bathroom was a little bit small there was no plates or cutlery (had to eat my cereal out of a ceramic mug lol) and it was sad that the pool was closed all day :(

Comfortable beds, great location, not...

Liked: The location is great! This was our 5th stay at this hotel. We were kindly offered an upgrade but unfortunately we were very disappointed with the state of disrepair.
Disliked: So many maintenance issues around the hotel. The lifts felt dirty and the handrail was partially hanging off in one lift. The pool needed cleaning and mould removal from the walls, lots of missing tiles, generally run down, exterior of balconies with chunks missing.

Great location with easy beach...

Liked: I recently stayed at the Novotel Surfers Paradise and had a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach, which made it incredibly convenient for daily swims and sunset strolls. Being in the heart of Surfers Paradise also meant easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport.We were lucky to get a high-floor room, which offered a lovely view and a peaceful atmosphere away from the street noise. The room itself was spacious and clean, with plenty of room for the whole family to relax comfortably. I especially appreciated the ample seating—there were enough chairs for everyone, which made winding down in the evenings much more enjoyable.One of the highlights was the private balcony. It was a great spot to enjoy a morning coffee or just take in the fresh ocean air. The room also came with thoughtful amenities like air conditioning, a mini-fridge, and a flat-screen TV.Overall, Novotel Surfers Paradise is a solid choice for families or anyone looking for a beachside getaway with comfort and convenience. I’d definitely stay here again.
Disliked: While my overall stay at Novotel Surfers Paradise was enjoyable, there were a couple of aspects that could be improved.Firstly, our room did not have a desk, which might not be an issue for everyone, but could be inconvenient for guests who need to use a laptop or do any writing. A small workspace would make the room more versatile, especially for business travelers or students.Secondly, the bathroom exhaust fan wasn’t functioning well. After showering, the room became quite steamy and damp, which made it uncomfortable and could potentially lead to moisture issues over time. Better ventilation would definitely enhance the comfort and usability of the bathroom.These issues didn’t significantly affect our stay, but addressing them could make the experience even better for future guests.
