Disliked: It was being redesigned so that impacted on the ambience

Disappointing for the price.

Liked: They told us in advance that refurbishment was underway on the ground floor and there would be limited facilities. Staff were helpful.
Disliked: The room was very outdated. Bathroom was like a cabin on a ship. Toilet was like an aircraft toilet. Corridors were in desperate need of decorating/carpeting.

Liked: The location of the hotel is good. You do need to walk about 15 minutes to reach the city center but that's acceptable. There are train/tram/bus stops nearby. The rooms are decent size.
Disliked: The property is under renovation and it was not clearly stated what level of renovation was taking place. It was not clear that no hot breakfast was available. The toilet and bath felt as if we were in a caravan.The price we paid for the stay was not value for money. On hindsight, we could have booked at a better hotel for the same price. Compared to the Novotel experience in the UK this was not at par.

Okay but wait until the...

Liked: The rooms were being refurbished and were nice and modern.
Disliked: Unfortunately nobody responded to my email question about the parking as they had refurbishments going on and we had to pay for a multi storey car park nearby. Also breakfast was basic and was delivered to your room.
