Very good

Ok, but could be better...

Liked: Although the property is not in the main old town area we enjoyed the walk to and from the hotel, takes about 20mins. Breakfast was nice with a good selection to choose from. We enjoyed the freshly squeezed juices, pancakes and waffles.
Disliked: The toilet and bathroom are separate which is fine until you want to wash your hands and the bathroom is being used. Also the shower was backing up during our first use- surely the cleaners would have noticed this when they cleaned the shower and this should have been sorted before our arrival. It was quickly rectified after a maintenance person visited but not a great start and avoidable. Also, cleaning is not that great, room and bathroom was dusty with cobwebs- again easily avoidable.

Good in general, a failure...

Liked: Given some serious failures on arrival, and strong interventions from our side, the staff reacted pro-active, quick and apologised.
Disliked: We booked a room for disabled(mobility) restricted guests, for one week (7 nights). The room was a designated room for disabled people, but without any cupboard (yes, not a single cupboard), a chair so fragile that a disabled person would slide easily, and no furniture in the bathroom to store items, or a stable chair. When complaining we were told: "This is a newly designed room for disabled guests and cannot be changed. Its like that." We were speechless. The response was unethical and highly unprofessional, to say the least. We demanded the supervisor to come; she then swiftly changed things.

Liked: Not had breakfast, other guests said it was lovely Bar was nice, staffed most of time Pool, jacuzzi and sauna lovely
Disliked: Shower was very slippery Staff at desk were ok, not particularly welcoming but did help with requests Lady on last day was happy to help with putting luggage in the luggage room for us as we had a late flight
