Novotel Paris Les Halles

Bad value for money.

Liked: Location, elevators.
Disliked: I came with high expectations but it was really bad: the room wasn’t clean: the bed sheets and mattress cover was dirty and I need to call the reception to come replace it. Also there was empty beer bottles outside the room from the previous guests. Also the hotel is very outdated, and because of the renovation that is taking place, there isn’t gym access for now. I will not return.

Liked: We loved the location. We walked everywhere even with kids. Lots of restaurants and shops just outside. Very good breakfast.
Disliked: Reception area is very small and under construction. The hotel is under construction but generally it didn’t bother us.

Good location

Liked: Location is convenient. Right in front of train station
Disliked: The room has very poor sound proof. We happened to stay there during music festival and the music was sooo loud from 6pm till 2am.. we couldn’t sleep and the streets were so dirty and smelly after the festival. But I know it’s not just that area, it happens to other area as well. But we will appreciate it if the hotel can inform us of this event prior to booking so we can take this into consideration when booking. With young kids, I would not have booked the room if I was aware of the event.

Liked: When we went to our room there was an extra bed/sofa which occupied a large space. I called front desk. Sofa was rearranged but still space was limited. ...then there was only one towel (?)
Disliked: Room was not ready for us
