Good hotel with off-street underground...

Liked: Warm welcome and off-street parking in underground car park. Rooms quiet and comfortable. Excellent location, walk to city centre and Les Machines de L’Ile.
Disliked: Paper cups supplied instead of ceramic. Kettle provided but silly paper cups.

Liked: The location was great, we wanted to be on the island near the Machine park. Safe to walk by the river, many restaurants near by.
Disliked: All expected, especially that the price was reasonable.

Liked: The only convenient thing was there was a carrefour city within walking distance.
Disliked: 1. Pillows were an absolute joke, they were cushions and only 3 pillows provided per room for a 4person family room.2. The shower gel wasn’t refilled, had to ask and wait 20mins for replacements3. No air conditioning 4. Water pressure was so slow in the bathrooms 5. Breakfast items for vegetarian is non existence the only hot item on the menu is runny scrambled eggs. 6. Staff very unhelpful7. Despite saying parking provided at a cost no parking availableA total waste of money and a really bad reflection on Novotel as a brand. This hotel needs to be investigated asap for their setup and service as guests will be playing for Novotel service but receive the worst service and rooms that you won’t even stay for free. I booked 3 family rooms for a group of 10.

Disliked: Restaurant and bar closes too early for travelers and people who are working late. The TV had over 100 channels of which only 1 was in English. Bathroom was outdated and not very clean. Breakfast was way too French: only tooth breaking baguettes, no other breads, only French cheese available and a lot of very sweet stuff. The cappuccino was horrible and actually hot choco milk with a coffee flavor.
