Exceptional

Liked: Beautiful and great hotel. Lovely pool area, bar area and restaurant. Inside or next to a big mask in case you forgot anything. IMMEDIATELY next to a great town center full of restaurants and bars and patrons. Great experience.
Disliked: It can be a little hard to find at first which I've read from other reviews.

A nice hotel in a...

Liked: I liked the room and the bathroom. Breakfast was good, especially the lovely French cheeses.
Disliked: I found the reception staff quite unfriendly and unsmiling. When I arrived, after the 3pm check in time I was told my room was not ready. I was given a voucher for a free drink whilst I waited. I sat and waited but no-one came to tell me my room was ready. I went to reception at 4pm and was told it was ready. Why did no-one come and tell me? My room had a toilet separate from the bathroom and there was a door betwen the entrance to the room with the toilet and the bedroom with the bathroom. This door also divided the wardrobe. It was very inconventient. I wished I could remove this door!

Liked: The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious.The breakfast is good.
Disliked: This is not my first stay in this hotel but seems to be the last one. A lot of negative changes since my last visit.Strange square type pillows and very uncomfortable bedConsidering a 4 star hotel, the amenities were close to noneShort staffed, whenever you call reception for anything they ask you to come to reception to get it which is again disappointing for 4 star hotel.

Superb

Great location and fantastic breakfast

Liked: The hotel room was so spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing - loads of choice of food including breads, cakes, pastries, fruit, granola and cereals, some hot food (boiled & scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon), and a range of gluten free options! Definitely recommend if you’re in the area - the hotel was right in the town centre close to the cathedral, the Germans Gate and a lovely square filled with bars and restaurants.
