Novotel Manchester Centre

Enjoyed this hotel; it was clean; staff were friendly and it felt luxurious for the price. Highly recommend.

Liked: The hotel was clean; service was good. The hotel itself is in a good spot and felt it was a high standard for the price.
Disliked: Nothing.

Good stay however my first impression was reception.

Liked: Clean room and nice hotel.
Disliked: Reception staff not very helpful on checking in. They never asked us for help with bags and stuff nor did they show us the route to the lifts or to the room - left us turning around in the entrance. Talking amongst each other was more important than helping guests out. However when checking out, they were friendly and helpful.

Liked: Location is absolutely perfect. Just 2 mins walk to the tram which goes directly to Etihad Stadium one way or Trafford Centre the other. Staff were so friendly, helpful, welcoming and human (which seems to becoming rarer these days!)

Came to support marathon runner,...

Liked: The breakfast was very good. Decaffeinated coffee available along with alternative milks.Staff at check in check out were friendly and efficient. Room was available earlier than expected.
Disliked: The room was a little warm despite trying to adjust the thermostat. The bed was firm. Needed place to hang towels in the bathroom.

Disliked: Beds and cleanliness off room ,such an uncomfortable bed and tv channels all saying unavailable even radio stations ,have to qr code for reception which no.one answers so end up calling a d taking ages
