Bad experience...

Disliked: Hotel was not e quipped sufficiently...some incident were unpleasant...specially a receptionist named viccy..very rood and unpolite employee

Busy, chaotic, poor value for...

Liked: The service in the restaurant was good on Saturday night.
Disliked: The breakfast was not good value at £21 per person, it was impossible to eat enough to justify £21. Both days the choice was limited - there was no coffee and little snacks. The staff were very busy and the breakfast was not cleared. Overall the breakfast was very disappointing. The lifts were not working properly. At dinner the food was very expensive. I have stayed here many times before but never experienced this poor level of service.

Look for more modern options...

Liked: The location is OK, close to main touristic attractions, 15min to Westminster by walk, 20min to Waterloo, where there are many restaurants. Closest tube station is 10min walk. The guys at the reception kindly provided some adaptors for our EU plugs, which was nice of them.
Disliked: It’s absolutely not good value for money. Too old and shabby. It’s not a new style Novotel. The breakfast was very basic, typical English breakfast of quite basic quality, not enough fresh vegetables or pancakes for kids. And it’s all the same during the week, so after couple of mornings, you are getting bored. Also we booked a room for 3, so used additional sofa and it’s not suitable for sleeping, as there are some holes and it’s not comfortable at all.
