Great abode in a big...
Liked: Enough space. Loved the food in the restaurant. Helpful staff.
Disliked: We had to ask for new towels and cleaning of bins. Would have appreciated if they did it without me asking.

Liked: We've stayed before but felt the room was more dated then previous and had a few things like kettle and tv not working. Marks on wall and door chipped.It didn't stop the overall stay being good though.
Disliked: The pool is great but there was a lesson on and the instructor was quite loud and took half the pool which ruined the atmosphere.

Disappointing
Liked: It was not bad
Disliked: During my recent stay at Novotel, I encountered several issues that significantly impacted the overall experience. One of the most disappointing aspects was the behaviour of certain staff members responsible for maintaining the showers. Their tone and choice of language were unprofessional and lacked basic respect for guests. It felt uncomfortable and inappropriate, especially in a setting that is expected to uphold hospitality standards.Additionally, there was a complete lack of privacy while these staff members were working. It’s important for any hotel to respect guests’ personal space, especially in sensitive areas like bathrooms and shower facilities, but this was clearly not the case.When we requested proper cleaning equipment—specifically mops—for the bathroom, we were instead handed hotel towels and instructed to use them to clean the floor. This was not only inconvenient but frankly unacceptable. Towels are typically meant for personal hygiene, and being asked to use them for floor cleaning gave the impression that hygiene protocols were not being followed seriously. Reflecting on this, it now feels quite unhygienic and even disgusting to think that these towels—normally associated with cleanliness—were treated as makeshift cleaning rags.Overall, I expected a higher standard of service and basic courtesy from a hotel of this calibre. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and ensures improvements in staff training, hygiene protocols, and respect for guest privacy and also state about parking charges clearly on the website than only knowing about this when one get to the facility
