Quick check in and check out. Lovely comfortable room, clean and inviting. Good location for visiting the town and the Regent Theatre.

Liked: Clean rooms. Pleasant receptionist. Location.
Disliked: Bananas in breakfast buffet we're well past their best (black, squishy) and coffee not good (uht milk may have been the problem) but pretty good breakfast apart from that.Some parts of hotel seemed a bit unloved/grotty e.g stair well. Lifts were out of action for some of the stay.

Pleasantly surprised stay and value...

Liked: Perfect location. Spacious room albeit rather impersonal. Comfy bed. Expansive breakfast.
Disliked: A comfy armchair in room would have been nice . Lift wasn’t working but staff allowed me to use service lift.

A lovely modern hotel in...

Liked: The breakfast was fine but a bit pricey. Evening meal was good but the same menu every day. Comfortable lounge area but the drinks were rather expensive.
Disliked: The constant music, certainly not to everyone’s taste, more suitable for young people and a bit too loud. There was a climate control panel in the room but we couldn’t use it, apparently the temperature of the room was set at 21C and couldn’t be changed, our room was too hot some days.

Disliked: For personal reasons, I have to stay at this hotel quite often. Everything is ok with the hotel itself, but I am unpleasantly surprised by the experience with payment. The hotel does not accept MasterCard, I was not warned about this, and I was not offered any solutions - your card is simply not accepted, do whatever you want. Apple pay is not suitable, it is impossible to make a transfer, they do not accept cash. So what should I do standing there with a suitcase and a child?? That time, my friend saved me, who paid by card. If there is such a problem, the hotel could at least warn customers in advance and offer some solutions.
