Disliked: We booked accommodation, upon arrival we were notified Novotel had over booked And we were relocated to holiday inn .We received no notification and very disappointed. Apart from been inconvenient there was no communication, very poor

Liked: Friendly staff, comfy beds, clean rooms, great breakfast, location was perfect!!
Disliked: No robes to go to the pool and gym facilities . Really cannot fault the hotel

Liked: The view from our room was great, we didn’t ask for a ocean view but got one anyway! It was clean and the tv had Foxtel & Chromecast which was perfect. It was quiet and the air conditioning was devine

Disappointing - I paid more...

Liked: The waterfront location was great. The room was too warm for my liking and the bed was harder than I anticipated.
Disliked: There was a mix up with reception when I arrived - I had asked to invite a colleague to buffet breakfast (I called before my stay) and the person I spoke with said that would be fine. The girl on reception when I arrived charged me $30 for my breakfast guest which was fine. She then rang my room that evening and then said guests who weren't staying couldn't come to breakfast and then, after I while I realised ('cause English was obviously her second language) she meant he could come but the charge for breakfast was going to be higher. So she said she'd need to refund the additional payment and I'd need to pay in the morning. The lady (an older lady) on reception in the morning was quite cold - she didn't smile and I felt like I was being a hassle to her. The room was quite warm and the mattress was also quite firm.
