Liked: Easy walk to Freiburg train station
Disliked: Cleaning staff entered the room twice w/o knocking! Acted like they had every right. Can't speak English. Just said "Me clean" in an aggressive way

Liked: The location of the hotel is great. A stone‘s throw away from the train station, right adjacent to a lovely neighborhood with shops, bars and restaurants.
Disliked: It’s a chain no-thrills hotel, nothing special.

It was just a nightmarish...

Disliked: I wrote on the Booking.com form that I have a special need: wheelchair access to the facility and room and that I will arrive between 23:00 and Midnight…Difficulty to navigate inside the room and impossibility to access the bathroom! When I called the night manager, he admitted I was not given a wheelchair holder room because no one was available and I was given the smallest because it was the only left! He apologizes and told me that I will receive a compensation : the following day and night, I will be given a real room for wheelchair holder free of charge! I left the nightmarish room without the possibility to take a shower. I went to the reception and I asked to talk to the morning/day manager who was aware of the commitment of the night manager called Mr. Wulf or Wolf. He told me that he has no power to respect the commitment of his colleague because he has no authority to do itI understood that I was ripped off! I left very disappointed with no intention to ever go back to this hotel!PS: it was not possible to switch off the light while charging the battery of my wheelchair at that night:so it was impossible to sleep at night in that room!

Great location and comfort

Liked: Booked for a nights stay in Freiberg. Hotel was 10-15mins walk from the town center, so in a great location. Room was spacious and had everything one would expect from Novotel. As we came with 3 motorcycles, the Novotel team were helpful in sorting us with parking in their "private" parking area. The area has shutters, so we had peace of mind leaving our bikes there. We didnt select breakfast as part of our stay as we decided to eat in the city.
