Novotel Edinburgh Centre Hotel

As expected for a city...

Liked: Good central location. Clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Traffic noise. The fridge didn’t work. Stains on the carpet and a hairdryer with too short a flex to actually reach a mirror!!!

Excellent location and even better...

Liked: Breakfast was great! The quality of the food was superb.
Disliked: No staying there longer. :)

Liked: Very central location. Bus stations very close by for local commute. Good restaurants close-by. Walkable to most attractions if you like walking. All in all an apt place to stay. 9/10.

Liked: The hotel is in a good location
Disliked: The room was incredibly hot. All rooms are set to 19° and this cannot be changed. No fan was provided. The recommended range for comfortable sleep is between 15° and 19°c, and on one of the hottest days of the year so far having rooms at that temperature with no way to cool them made it too hot to sleep. I managed about 3 hours of broken sleep. The changing areas for the pool and sauna are very small with very little space to change.

Liked: The location was excellent for my needs. The accommodation was beautifully clean and comfortable. It would be useful if you could let guests know whether the water in the bathroom is safe to drink. It was very hot and I went through the two bottles of water in the fridge taking pills and doing my teeth. I had dinner in the bar. The food was fine and the service was delightful.
Disliked: See water above.
