Exceptional

It was a decent stay....

Liked: The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
Disliked: The kids area in the building was very dirty. Play screen not wiped and had finger prints and marks all over it and the floor had dirt on the floor around the chairs and tables that had built up over time, including strands of hair. The dinner was a big disappointment. Communication from the kitchen was appalling. The chicken was dry.

Liked: Room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All the staff I met were helpful, polite and friendly, and all smartly dressed. Easily accessible on the No. 20 bus route or rail from /to Coventry and of course great value for money.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike about Novotel Coventry

Liked: Was a good stay only thing is the tv can’t use apps to watch Netflix or anything and tv remote was faulty Room was clean staff very friendly. Breakfast had a nice selection the cooked breakfast was left there abit long making it abit dry. But will definitely stay agin I have few times now First time the bed had dip in was two singles together wasn’t comfy but this time was perfect Thank you for a lovely stay
Disliked: The tv more choices and able to use Netflix was no choice really to watch a film This stay was fine the bed last stay was dip in the bed was two singles together wasn’t ideal or comfortable

Disappointing

Liked: The people who cleaned our room were good. The bed was good. The hotel is near M6 but in a room we couldn't hear the traffic.
Disliked: On the first day I couldn't go to the gym as the receptionist said there were some problems. They opened it the next day. The fridge in the room didn't work. I said at the reception about it. They promised next morning somebody will come and look at it. No, nobody came.We stayed at the Novotel for 5 nights and 4 nights out of 5 were nightmare as it was very noisy in the corridor. After midnight people were slimming doors, talking loudly.

Awful. Left immediately.

Disliked: Awful area, very tired building, very stained carpet, drain smell in bathroom. We didn’t stay. Checked out within an hour of arrival.
