Novotel Brisbane South Bank

Good

Liked: Close to QPAC and Southbank park area. Loads of eating options.
Disliked: Getting woken up at 9:30am for mini bar restock. One of the reasons to choose here was the 11am check out as we had been to the ballet and it was a late night

An excellent stay but wouldn’t...

Liked: Excellent position, walk everywhere. Opposite Brisbane Convention Centre) excellent basement parking ( expensive but convenient)
Disliked: Migraine inducing, tacky decor. Carpet particularly garish! Tiny rooms open bathrooms ( indiscreet and sqeezy) surfaces covered in imitation wood vinyl.

Disliked: Offered me parking just to to told it’s full and park on the next block

Liked: Amazing location, super friendly and helpful staff- very accommodating. Bed was super comfortable and I really liked the more updated features, like a Dyson hair dryer etc.

Liked: Room was not up to standard for $400 a night horrible views.
Disliked: Couldn’t even park my car in the parking after already paying an extra $38!!! As there wasn’t enough space because someone took up 2 parks.
