Passable

Liked: Optimal location very close to train station and to the beach. Passable for a one-night stay if willing to avoid the very high average prices of Cote d'Azur.
Disliked: Old and not well maintained facilities, dark moquette on the bedroom floor that did not look very clean and is not easily cleanable in general, dark colour towels so impossible to thoroughly inspect their cleanliness, found hair on one pillow. Staff could not speak a word of English which is not acceptable for such a famous and international location as St. Raphael, nor they did anything to make me feel welcome, check in was not easy for just a 15 minutes delay due to a late train, breakfast was very bad and very overpaid.

Liked: Wonderful small hotel, great location near the train station and beach. Such a comfortable and lovely room. Staff were very friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back again!

Inexpensive comfort

Liked: Lovely stay in an older family run hotel. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay—good ac and an overhead fan for good temperature control on some very hot days. The family was very accommodating. Location is steps away from the boardwalk and sandy beaches, along with many restaurants and coffee bars. It is on a noisy street, but the windows blocked out all the sound. We had breakfast for 8 euros each one day with nice choices. For the price, we considered it a great deal. We stayed 5 nights. St Raphael is a wonderful family oriented beach town.
Disliked: Unfortunately they do not have an elevator. There are 3 flights above ground level. Not much of a view from the windows, but the location makes up for it.
