Norwood Inn & Suites Columbus

The toilet did not flush; the pillows were more like couch pillows and there was a dead fly in my room on the air unit; one of the worst hotels I've stayed in - won't be returning there ever again.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: The toilet didn't flush; no breakfast like I was told.

Went to check in and the man behind the desk, even though we had booked and paid 2 months prior, kept trying to swipe my card. Kept saying it was declined. Did let us get our room but wasn't the room we had booked. Told us to speak with the manager the next morning - they fixed the problem. Except we still didn't get the right room. Breakfast was disgusting. Rooms were dirty. One guest found drug related objects in their room. Beds were extremely uncomfortable.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Everything.

Liked: Friendly staff and clean rooms.
Disliked: Very little hot water.

For the price you cannot go wrong. Our room was very clean and neat; the water and snacks in room were a nice, inviting touch. Location right off exit ramp is a big plus and all the restaurants and fast food places are extremely close. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Liked: Beds were comfortable; great breakfast; friendly desk clerks.

Disliked: Homeless camp next to parking area. Also the mini fridge didn't keep things very cold.

Disliked: This place was absolutely disgusting. The carpets were filthy. There were terrible smells in the rooms and hallways. We reserved the room for 3 people and there were exactly 2 pillows in the room. No towels or washcloths. Stains on all the bedding.

Worst hotel in Columbus. DON'T...

Liked: This hotel is absolutely horrible. The rooms come with no towels then you have to wait for someone to come to the front desk to get towels for an hour. The door to your room is broke. Then to top if off they have false advertisements when it comes to breakfast. The food they give is stale and old. The pancake mix was rotten and we begged them to clean it out but they said they aren't serving breakfast today. On top of that all they served was coffee. The cereal is stale , my kid threw up from the milk they provided which was out of date. Then the waffle machine had mold on it . Disgusting as place

Blood stained sheets and armed...

Liked: It's cheap, but that's the only positive thing you can say about this place.
Disliked: First off, Im a pretty reasonable dude. I know I'm not paying for a room at the Ritz Carlton, but this place sucks. The guy behind the counter at check-in was rude and dismissive, and the room wasn't any better than the hospitality. When I got in, I went to use the restroom and saw there was a long black hair on top of the towels. The room was just pretty gross in general. One of the two beds had either blood or a blood stain on the sheets. That being said, the men selling.....something out back was a nice touch, though. We got to see one of them drop his gun on the ground, so it's nice to know they have armed guards, even if they're a bit clumsy.

Liked: Nothing was good about the hotel
Disliked: When you first get there there is no one at the desk all the workers have hotel rooms themselves they sit in and do what ever with the doors open so you have to wait to be helped. The outside is filled with sketchy people and homeless people. It smelled like cigarettes and weed through the whole building. The room its self wasn’t terrible but they could clean the rooms better. Even after I expressed my problems and asked for a refund they kept trying to give me another room an also tried to say I can’t cancel or get a refund at all which was a lie.
