Good

Liked: nice location, big room with individual AC/heating, good breakfast choice
Disliked: It seems no one really cares about the place:- it’s not clean (hair, sticky floor, the dustiest hotel room phone I’ve seen in my life)- at check-in, the receptionist asked if that was our first stay, we said yes, but she still didn’t say anything about the spa facilities or breakfast - she just led us to our room and we had to ask at the door- they replied to my Booking request after we’d already checked out :D

Wonderful surprise and we would...

Liked: Loved the location and the ability to use the hot tub, sauna and steam room. Beautiful deck with great view of Lake Ontario in the distance. Meals were amazing!! We had dinner and breakfast.

Beautiful spot where stars shine...

Liked: Very clean and beautiful space. AC was strong and the TV was perfect. We really enjoyed the bed! The facility had very nice massage chairs, a great sauna room and relaxing jacuzzis. Mona was very sweet and approachable when we spoke to her. The staff is equally as nice and attentive :)
Disliked: Nothing to complain about. Wish we stayed longer

Nice for a short getaway...

Liked: The place was located not too far from Toronto so getting there was easy and not too long of a drive. We didn’t get to use any of the spa facilities unfortunately, but it looked like they were in good condition. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious. It’s only a 15min drive from Cobourg if you want to explore that little charming town. We didn’t have dinner at the restaurant on site m, but we did have breakfast there which was included with the booking and it was decent. If it hadn’t been included I don’t think I would have been happy to pay $25 for that breakfast. But all in all a pleasant location for a short term stay.

Liked: The breakfast was excellent! The coffee was exceptional, too. Our waitress was very nice.
Disliked: We found the property run down, although it was very clean. The grounds were large but the views were not pleasant; there were no flowering bushes or nice flowers. We were not allowed to drink our glass of wine outside. The TV did not work at first and the receptionist had no idea about the system. Later she told us that the satellite was not available in our room so there was a Firestick. There were basically no channels available to us with the Firestick. So, with nowhere to walk, nothing to see outside and no tv, we were not impressed and couldn't wait to leave.
