Liked: The room was so spacious and clean. The area was quiet and the staff were very friendly and nice.

Very large Motel room, North...

Liked: This motel is a little north and some distance from the heart of Oamaru. The check in was very pleasant. My room was upstairs and as I climbed them I was disappointed with the grubby appearance and was concerned what the room would be like! The balcony was much the same. The motel room was really large and comfortable, a little outdated but it was clean. I like to cook but the kitchenware was somewhat limited and the frypan would not sit on the element. the beds were comfortable. The motel compendium requires updating as it does not give current information. The bar is large and the bar attendant was great.
Disliked: Grubby stairwell and balcony, both of which could do with a repaint. Kitchenware requires an update.
