Liked: Great location to both Nevada City and Grass Valley. Nice comfort for the rate.

Liked: Location and exterior setting is beautiful.
Disliked: Room was minimally clean. Bathroom was terrible - black mold, shower had gaps in floor and hot water was difficult to turn on. Reserved for 2 adults and 1 nine year old child. Room only had bed for 2 adults.

Liked: Nice hiking trail to the nearby railway museum. And overall feel of old times.

Gross hotel room, horrible beds.

Disliked: Beds were highly uncomfortable, you can feel the springs. Also the bed frame didn’t match the bed so we all got cut on the metal hanging out. Shower was so loud if someone got up to use it we were all waking up! Fridge had so much ice caked on it, it was melting everywhere until we can get it off.. ice caked on the inside of it too. Not enough towels in the room, not enough toilet paper in the room. The bed sheets were disgusting.. the protectant cover had blood stains on it not washed. After a certain time if the office doesn’t have it housekeeping won’t either because they leave without stocking the office up before they leave. Cleanings only happen every 3 days and they don’t come around asking if you need anything. That’s why you have to continually go to the office to ask for supplies. Bathroom window doesn’t lock so someone could potentially hop though and you can get robbed. Oh yeah thee is absolutely no WiFi. It doesn’t work in or around the rooms. Hotel needs to upgrade a ton of things what is this the 80s! Damn rooms have been ran though so much. Paint doesn’t match in the room patches everywhere, dirty corners everywhere. When it asks how was the value of your price I’d say I spent too much on this hotel!

Disliked: Stuff stuck in carpet, mirror was dirty, bottles in bathroom were empty, bathroom door was broken, very outdated and over priced for 174 for one night
