North Vancouver Hotel

Other than the loud noises...

Liked: Everything was good. Easy check-in, rooms themselves were good, good amount of space, etc
Disliked: On the second night we stayed, there were really loud noises outside. It was extremely hard to sleep - the noise was similar to someone playing the TV at a really high volume. There were also kids running around outside which caused a lot of noise. I had to call the front desk after 1-2 hours of this to see what was going on…it subsided a bit but you could still hear the noise.

Liked: Breakfast included. Mountain view. Microwave and mini fridge.
Disliked: Some mould in the bathroom. Smoke detector looked old (should be replaced every 10 years)

Liked: I stayed at the North Vancouver Hotel for two nights in June. While the room price was affordable and the in-room facilities met basic needs, my overall experience was marred by unacceptable staff behaviour.Positives: • Price: The nightly rate was very reasonable compared to other options in the area. • Room Facilities: The room included a fridge, microwave, and iron, which were convenient for my stay. • Cleanliness: Housekeeping maintained an average level of cleanliness—nothing outstanding, but generally acceptable (no major issues like pests or stains; however, it wasn’t spotless).
Disliked: Negatives: • Staff Behaviour: The most significant issue was with the employees. Throughout my stay, staff interactions felt aggressive and rude.

An okay spot if you...

Liked: The hotel is in a great location just outside the city.
Disliked: Our room smelled musky and felt dirty. The floor didn’t look like it had been cleaned and everything was dusty.

Exceptional

Comfortable and clean hotel with...

Liked: Room has been refurbished and was comfortable and clean. Good quality breakfast. If you're looking to stay in North Vancouver this hotel is a convenient option.
Disliked: Outside of the property could do with a refurbishment too. There was a bit of noise from adjoining rooms. Some eating options nearby but for more choices you would need to drive.

Liked: On our travels to Canada over the years, if we are flying out of vancouver International Airport back to the UK, we always try and get into this venue because of the direct route to the airport. Apart from that, the property is sited perfectly for easy to reach attractions such as, Grouse mountain, Capilano suspension bridges, Capilano river fish hatchery and one of the quietest, but well worth the visit parks at the Capilano river dam.Another reason for using this facility is the very good on site laundry facilities available for guests to use. Saves packing dirty clothes to take home.
Disliked: There isn't really anything not to like. Great location, easy to get to, plenty of parking

Best choice for a stress...

Liked: Great location. Quiet, easy to get around, tasty breakfast items, very. Clean, very comfortable bed with 2 semi-soft pillows and one firm (perfect!), and the nicest staff.
Disliked: Nothing bad about it.
