Disliked: Booked this hotel having read the reviews as we was on a budget before our little one is born! I wish I hadnt!I wasnt expecting the Ritz but I expect the place to be clean and good customer service!How wrong was I!We had been delayed getting there due to many reasons but contacted the hotel to let them know we would be there no later then 10.30pm. They said this was fine. We arrived shortly before 10pm and they was about to head out and was rushed to check in! (Reception was meant to be open till 11pm)We was given room 33 on the top floor. Checked the room and I refused to stop in there and sent my partner down quick before the staff left to swap rooms! The carpet and bathroom floor was beyond filthy. The whole bed was covered in stains like they had never been washed. Every surface was covered in dust. The shower cubicle was literally dropping to bits and disgusting!They swapped us to the room across, room 34. Was a rush to quickly check the room over as the member of staff wanted to go out! It was a little cleaner from a glance! So we stuck with it as they didnt seem bothered at all!Well the floor in the room needed a vacuum. The sheets smelt clean but was still covered in stains but wasnt as bad as the other room. Stains on the curtains. Rusty shelf in bathroom and unclean taps. Dust on top of the tv also. The light had wires exposed.Nothing in the room at all with information about contacts for management/staff if needed etc. only fire safety on the back of the door.The carpet all the way through the hotel was disgusting and never seen a vacuum. Paintwork filthy and dusty.No health and safety at all as the the door to the hotel was constantly unlocked so anyone could walk in!While we was staying there, there was a lad who was constantly begging loud through out the night and harassing guests. On out last night when we got back to the hotel he stopped us the floor below ours and was asking us random questions.
