It handled bare basics, but...

Liked: The room wasn't a catastrophe when I arrived (e.g. no insects, bloodstains, and/or other horror stories that some motels get written up for), and I kept it in that condition during my stay. That's an entry-level expectation. It was reasonably quiet.
Disliked: No fitted/bottom sheet on bed, only a poor-fitting top sheet. Thus, any movement in bed caused that sheet to slip and I was laying on only the mattress pad. Presumably, predecessors on earlier nights had that happen, also, and that isn't acceptable. Long hair in shower (I don't have long hair). Tissues partly contaminated by (dried) liquid, the box apparently had been partially exposed to a liquid some time ago but was placed in the unit anyway. No pamphlets or maps about the area; you're in the tourism business, so perhaps you could support tourism, or at least your local neighborhood. Aggressively unwelcoming front desk employee(s). Front desk called me 90 minutes before the check-out deadline, apparently trying to hurry me along. Front desk refused to print a receipt at check-out, even though a printer was clearly visible. Etc.

Disliked: Sam, the manager’s partner? was horrible. He lied to us about check in times, early check in fees, and called our room and screamed at my child!!!! The beds are equal to sleeping on the cement floor. I slept on my car the last night because of my back pain. I was afraid to ask for a room swap after Sam called our room and screamed at my child (recorded conversation to submit to Booking.com and Better Business Bureau).
