Liked: the staff although many of them were very young far exceeded my expectations of friendliness, professionalism and were very helpful with sharing local knowledge of the area to improve our overall stay, places to visit what's on and where to eat outside of the hotel, not that we really needed to as the dining was lovely with many locals using the restaurant every day testament to how popular the food is. breakfast is hearty with plenty selection and from fresh local produce. would certainly recommend.
Disliked: i can honestly say there was not a single disagreeable moment in my stay, centre of town yet quiet cosy lounge with a view over the river loved every thing about this hotel.

Liked: Good location
Disliked: It felt a bit like walking into a care home for the elderly and as we came back in, the hotel smelt of school dinners. In the morning, the hotel did smell fresh.

Good hotel and location

Liked: The room was comfortable and being able to walk around Wick, was good. We were very impressed and highly recommend that people check out the Wick heritage museum.
Disliked: Everything in the hotel was fine, it just felt like we were staying in an assisted living community.
