Jessica, Merseyside, visiting Wythenshawe Park Manchester Sun, 27 August 2023

We got to the hotel to check in, only to be taken around the back to a block of old flats. The wallpaper in our room was peeling off, one of the lights hanging out, damp around the window, cobwebs all over the room, a rug that was going up the wall as it didn’t fit. Carpets were dirty all around the hotel. When we left for the day, we got back to lovely clean towels however our room was unlocked so anyone could have been in our room for the hours we were gone. £197 room (for one night) to be told breakfast is an extra £10 per person. My partner and myself ended up checking out around 10pm and driving home. Our first time in Manchester and it was such a disappointment. I wish I could add pictures to this review.

Liked: Leaving.
Disliked: Everything.

Passable

Liked: Friendly and polite staff. The room was clean.
Disliked: The room was very dated. Light bulbs are missing from the fittings, the one above the bed was a bright daylight bulb. The room was very dated, peeling wall paper and the light on the bathroom cabinet didn't work. Carpet was clean but stained.
