Need better lighting in rooms

Liked: The staff were friendly and the event we attended was very good.
Disliked: It is a bit run down in some areas of the hotel. The room was very small but the worst thing is the fact there is no big light in centre of room or any decent lighting only not very bright small lamps dotted about which were rubbish. I had to open the curtains at the window to do my hair and make up with the daylight. Standing at the main mirror could not see well at all. The food from the event was awful.
