Disliked: No fan in bathroom.

We checked in at 4AM, and were woken up at 7AM by water dripping from the light fixture in the bathroom. They promptly moved us to the same room further up and offered us free breakfast. Response time to this issue (which probably was another guest's fault) was timely and correct, but I had zero interest in going to breakfast, or doing anything but going back to sleep. That issue aside, the view was great and the room was as expected.

Overall stay was good.
Liked: The tub filled when showering and the tile grout had dirt in between. You don?t expect that at a 250 a night rate. Also, the elevators were too few to accommodate the guess size.
Disliked: The worst was the backup of water in the shower.

Short stay at a good...
Liked: Location is great everything is within walking distance, Mall, Waterside, Nauticus, Town Point Park, etc. Hotel is well appointed the restaurant and bar is Shula's 347 Grill great place to eat or just enjoy some cocktails. The is is great hotel to stay at for the festivities that occur throughout the year at Town Point Park.
Disliked: We have stayed at this Marriott Hotel so many times in past and will continue, however the rooms are getting a little dated the bathroom in particular could use an update to the plumbing, tile, and tub.

Liked: Valet parking was great. Staff was very friendly. The hotel was within walking distance to everything we wanted to do and see. Our room was clean and bed and pillows very comfortable! We had a city view room. I would stay here again.
Disliked: There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel:-)

Place needs to cleaned and...
Liked: Our waiter was very nice.
Disliked: Breakfast buffet was lacking in selection and choices. They couldn?t find the cook to make an omelette. Had to wait while she was located. A waitress was walking around grilling other staff members about who took the money off a table and they ?better give it back?. Hotel review: Mattress was so soft and lumpy, which they knew as there was a board under it. Pillows were flat and had horrible smell. We went out and bought some to use. No info on hotel given. Never knew there was a pool, no map showing exits, no info on other services hotel might have had.... safe, restaurant, tours, parking, etc.

Liked: I loved the location on the river and the view from my corner room.
Disliked: Hotel needs to updated but I know that is coming.The lady who checked us in didn't tell us our room numbers, tell us where the elevators were or ask if we had any questions. The only things she ever said when I was checkin were ,"What's your name ?" " ID and credit card " and " Here's your keys " We were the only ones checking in at the time. I wasn't expecting a long conversation but a hello and a little bit more would have been appreciated.
