Great, central, friendly hotel!
Liked: Fourth time staying here. Lovely, central, friendly hotel. Staff are great and will do anything to help. You are 2 minutes from the centre of town and there’s a bus stop outside of the hotel. There’s a great swimming pool with sunbeds. Breakfast is plentiful. Will definitely be staying again

Good
Liked: Facilities, room, storage and beds n linens were great and staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of different lounge and bar seating areas. Large dining hall. Didn't use the pool as weather mainly rainy and 16c. But it looked ok. Bar good had lots of choices.
Disliked: We only ate dinner in the restaurant once as raining the evening we arrived so couldn't go out to dine. Menu option I chose was the described ' luxurious' salad with a choice of chicken, ham etc. I chose chicken..well apart from the rather dry chicken breast it had lettuce, a few slices of tomatoes and cucumber and a couple of thin strips of red pepper. No salad dressing. No side of coleslaw. Not a luxurious salad in my book. More like a lunch size portion. Thankfully there was cheese and crackers in the dessert option but although very generous with the cheese and crackers, there were no pickles, chutney or apple/grapes which most places serve with C&C. All a bit bland. But the English Breakfast was good but one of our group had the continental option: croissant ham and cheese + yoghurt. But the cheese looked like it had been left out of the fridge too long.
