Lovely character hotel

Liked: The staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely character hotel, central with parking and very comfortable.
Disliked: Strange smell which seemed to come from the carpet as you walk up to the first floor

Liked: The staff at breakfast were really friendly and helpful, and made the stay a really positive one. They went over and above to ensure that we had everything that we needed. The facilities were clean and comfortable and easy to access for the person in our party who had mobility issues. The atmosphere was really laid back and not at all pretentious and the building was lovely.
Disliked: It would have been helpful if the bathroom facilities were slightly more updated - a walk in shower would have made our stay better as one of our party couldn't easily use the bath.
