Best hotel in the heart...

Liked: Staff were fantastic (especially the reception the team, the ladies were really friendly, helpful ans chatty!)Fantastic location, right in the heart of the high street and next to the station and various restaurants, cafes and shops. Room was spacious, clean and had a gorgeous bathroom.Bar was open late so was able to grab drinks and snacks lateBreakfast was really good.
Disliked: Only slight problem I had was bed wasn’t that comfortable but everything else was perfect.

Nice hotel in good location.

Liked: Didn't have breakfast ..too expensive.Hotel in good central position.
Disliked: The young man on reception when we arrived wasn't very welcoming but the ladies there were very nice.It would've been nice not to have to pay for parking.The climb up to our room on the third floor was quite stifling.

Liked: Lovely hotel, great features, perfect location. Very thankful for the dan in the room!

Superb

Liked: We stayed for one night on our way to the tennis at Eastbourne. The room in the courtyard was one of the nicest we have stayed in & the staff were friendly & efficient. Breakfast was freshly cooked & plentiful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if in the area.
Disliked: Nothing. Couldn't fault the hotel at all.

Disappointment did not meet expectations

Liked: Location excellent. Parking (albeit at £7.50 per day). Breakfast was good. Able to book Courtyard Room so no stairs.
Disliked: Restaurant not open (booking.com form did not mention this - alerted reception of this). Plug in sink leaking badly - alerted reception to this on leaving - only booked and stayed one night.
