Good stopover

Liked: Really enjoyed using the pool, gym and spa and had it all to ourselves. Very reasonable meal in the restaurant.
Disliked: Rooms were adequate but a bit more basic than we expected

Standards Slip dramatically here!

Disliked: Food here has gone very downhill! The Hamburger on the evening menu was the most processed made beef I have ever tasted.Breakfast I thought must be better having stayed here many times before, but hey, when I asked for some extra bacon as a valid guest, I was flatly denied, when I asked why? I was spoken to like a 16 year old, not a 60 year old that I am "The chef said NO!" was her unwelcoming reply.The tiny pieces of bacon that were on the fried eggs was just as bad as the burger ( the night before) anyway and the scrambled egg was not good at all, standards definitely do not rule at this hotel anymore!
