Liked: Very clean! Quiet and close to stores and restaurants!

Local to my family, staff...

Liked: Quick and easy check in. Room was clean, Bedspreads were nice. Room was spacious. WiFi easy to connect too. Tv worked and bathroom had shampoo/conditioner soap etc.
Disliked: Most places we have stayed when you are there multiple days, housekeeping would come in to refresh your towels, soap etc. and take the trash out. We got extra towels at the office and the pool ourselves and we took our own trash out. I guess I am confused on how things are supposed to work as I don’t stay at motels/hotels often. What would the tip envelope be used for if there was no housekeeping completed while we were there? This I did not care for.

Liked: The scenery was nice, inside the hotel room the decor was very cute and cozy!!
Disliked: The beds were not very comfortable and made my back hurt. The jacuzzi tub in our room was WAYYYY more smaller then in the pictures. More suitable for one person. The public jacuzzi had dirt at the bottom of it and looked like no one had cleaned it in quite awhile.

Liked: The pool & picnic area was nice. Too bad the weather was yucky. Hot tub was nice, but small.
Disliked: The room was dated. The bed needs new mattress & pillows. No coffee makers in the room, so have to go the the coffee room and there was only 1 pot available. Both mornings I had make coffee & wait.

Liked: Conveniently located. Impeccably clean
Disliked: Pillows were too thin, had to pay a resort fee despite this not being a resort.

Pleasant suprise

Liked: We were traveling from Boston to Derby Line VT and stayed to break up the trip. It was such a pleasant surprise. The area is so quaint and rustic. The Lodge is exactly like the pictures on booking.com and everyone is so helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again when in the area.
