Perfect for a Sound Sleeper!

Liked: Pros: Great location! Walkable to shops, restaurants, and even beach. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Super clean. Check in was easy.
Disliked: This is the first time ever that I walked into a hotel with a noise machine on and air plugs next to the bed. While I really appreciate the attempt, they didn't come close to drowning out the noise. I stayed in the "Sunset" room and up until midnight all I heard were chairs and tables sliding across the floor above me, loud laughter and conversation. The bar/restaurant is literally above the room. At around midnight, it was quiet and then I slept well. However, at around 7am I awoke to the voices from the next room over. I am not kidding when I say, I could hear word for word the other guests' conversation. To be fair, the night I stayed was the night before St. Patick's Day and the morning chatter was between a mom and her kids. If you are someone who doesn't mind going to bed late and rising early, then this place is great for the price and location.

Liked: It’s unique & I loved the decor in the Bali room.
Disliked: It is noisy while the restaurant is open since the room is on the first floor & the restaurant is above it on the second floor. It is quiet after the restaurant is closed and everyone goes home… around 10pm

Liked: The Location can’t be beat & Ambiance is cute & “Funky Surf Boutique”(Red/yellow & Orange are the general color motif ). Minka, the housekeeper is a doll!
Disliked: Loud Noise (chairs scooting across floor and banging) from the rooftop restaurant until about 10:00pm. Thankfully it closes at that time but the noise started up again at 8:30am. Don’t expect to get a nap or in room quiet time until about 10:00pm …..Also, most of the rooms are actually subterranean so unless you don’t mind people looking down and into your space, the blinds covering the window can’t be opened for light …..

Liked: Very clean, cute hotel with exceptional service.
Disliked: Very, very noisy. The hotel is located below a restaurant that's busy with customers then cleaning until 11pm. The restaurant sounds like living below a rail station. Further, the hotel has concrete flooring throughout so noise easily travels between rooms-- you can hear EVERYTHING...
