The Spotlight on NoMad London

Historic Elegance Meets Live Music Energy in Covent Garden

Modern luxury with a touch of old-world charm, NoMad London sits in the heart of Covent Garden inside the beautifully restored Bow Street Magistrates' Court Building. Just steps from the Royal Opera House and surrounded by iconic West End theatres and music venues, this boutique hotel blends high design, culture, and convenience in one unforgettable stay.

With only 91 rooms and suites, NoMad London feels intimate yet cosmopolitan. Expect hardwood floors, bespoke artwork, and clawfoot tubs in many suites. From its stunning glass-ceiling atrium to its secretive underground bar, this hotel is a destination in itself.

Why Concert-goers love it

NoMad London is just a short walk from some of London’s most legendary live music and theatre venues. Whether you're catching a gig at a nearby venue or heading to the West End, you'll be within minutes of the action. After the show, return to a peaceful room with excellent soundproofing—ideal for winding down. The hotel’s 12:00 PM checkout is a dream for late risers, and its central location makes it easy to hop on a night bus or grab a late-night bite.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a stylish base close to the nightlife
  • Solo travelers catching a once-in-a-lifetime performance
  • Couples planning a romantic concert weekend
  • Fans who want a relaxing, upscale vibe post-show
  • Budget-conscious music fans seeking occasional splurge-worthy luxury

Food and Drink Options

After the encore, you won’t go hungry. The hotel’s atrium restaurant transforms from a sunlit dining space by day to a moody, atmospheric spot at night. Side Hustle, the hotel’s casual eatery, serves up Mexican-inspired fare and agave cocktails till late. You can also enjoy an à la carte breakfast the next morning—served in the restaurant, the intimate guest-only Library, or your room.

Nightlife Options

NoMad London knows how to keep the night going. Head down to Common Decency, the hotel’s subterranean cocktail bar where avant-garde drinks and modern twists on classics await. Want less buzz and more chill? The Library offers a quiet, sophisticated space for guests and their friends to unwind. And of course, you're within walking distance of Covent Garden's buzzing bar and club scene.

What People Say

Guests consistently praise the hotel’s stylish interiors, impeccable service, and prime location for shows and nightlife. Many rave about the comfortable beds, unique design touches, and the vibe that blends luxury with creativity. The on-site bars and dining options also get top marks for quality and ambiance.

Areas for Improvement

While the hotel is a design lover’s dream, some reviewers mention that the lighting in rooms can feel a bit dim for those who prefer a brighter space. Also, because it’s a boutique hotel, amenities like a spa or pool aren’t available—but the atmosphere more than makes up for it.

The Bottom Line

If you're heading to a concert in London and want a unique, stylish hotel steps from the action, NoMad London delivers comfort, character, and convenience in equal measure.

Very poor

Disliked: The room was located above a party - in the hotel - and the noise was appalling all the way to 1 in the morning. The hotel imposed an ‘optional gratuity’ to the bill which can be removed on checkout. I have never seen this before and wonder how many people checkout without realising that are being charged extra - in our case £50 plus…

Liked: Everything! It feels like you are in a film - love the decor, attention to detail, thoughtful approach from the staff. Oh yes, and the old fashioned dial phone in the room!!
