Loved the hotel location and...

Liked: Very beautiful. Fine appointments throughout the hotel. Rooftop bar and staff were top notch, bartender Phoenix was excellent!! Loved the beverage station on the guest floor. The valet/bellman Alex was extremely helpful and considerate. The bed was wonderful and the room very clean.
Disliked: We requested a 3pm check-in and we were about 2 hours early. We were fine to wait and were told we would be notified which never happened. The front desk staff had 5 employees rotating in and out at the desk while we waited. The high end Nespresso machine only worked 1 out of 3 times and wasted a pod each time. Annoying. The bedside lamps in our room did not work and the modern switches were not clearly marked nor user friendly. The hotel is classic and chic and needed old school features not modern switches. The faucet in the shower would not allow warm or cool water, only hot. The cleaning service did not leave an extra roll of toilet paper even when roll was half gone. When the staff told us our room was ready but still needed to be inspected for perfection we thought they meant what they said…
