Nobu Hotel Miami Beach

Disliked: The guest service at the hotel has fallen extremely short of our expectations, which is a shame because the property is beautiful and the rooms were amazing.As a guest paying quite a significant amount to stay here, the disrespect that we were shown by the guests services was absolutely appalling. We called in asking for 2 bottles of water. That is not a big ask, but we had to call in 5 times to ask about the status, after which we had to wait an hour before actually receiving the bottles. When we called to follow up on our request, we were informed that it usually takes around 15 minutes for water to be brought up (for what reason it takes this long for bottles of water to simply be brought up is a mystery) but at this point, we had waited for about 25 minutes already. The third time we called in, the guest services officer HUNG UP THE PHONE ON US. No explanation, no willingness to listen. We had been keeping our patience and by no means did we say anything out of line to deserve the kind of attitude that we had been met by. The fourth time we called we were informed that the water was coming ‘any minute now’ but we ended up waiting another 15 minutes. I had to go downstairs to actually buy water from the cafe, which defeats the purpose of having guest services…. Eventually after around an hour we finally received the two bottles of water which for a hotel of this status is shocking.The guest services were extremely unhelpful and rude. My husband and I are extremely disappointed with our experience and would not recommend a stay here.

Liked: Our dinner in the restaurant. Definitely lived up to expectations! The family pool - clean with helpful staff. I really liked the refilling water stations. Excellent idea.
Disliked: Given the price I was disappointed with the adult only Nobu pool. The loungers were far too close together and very disappointingly one trip we were put on two loungers with a dirty, sticky table between and the pool had a spillage in it - looked like ice cream. Both were ignored by the pool staff!Also at breakfast, we couldn’t have a latte because the machine was broken, but hey the coffee shop at the front had lattes so I expected our server to go and get one from there. Also my poached egg was very over cooked - that did get replaced eventually.

Disliked: There were only three non alcoholic cocktails my 20 year old daughter could choose from and staff would not make a fresh one. One she couldn’t have as she was allergic to cucumber -l
