Loved the hotel and staff,...

Liked: The location for exploring Stockholm is ideal
Disliked: When we checked in we were asked if we minded city noise which we expected, and assumed it meant buses, trams, cars etc. The first room we had was very noisy due to the bar downstairs with loud thumping music playing until 1am. We asked at reception about it the following morning only to be told it would go on until 5am the following morning, and the rest of our stay, as it was the weekend. They were able to change our room to the "quieter" side of the hotel but you could still hear the music above the air conditioning.Also, the rooms were very hot at night with the only cover available being a duvet and the ac not really coping, admittedly it was 28c during the day.

Liked: The hotel location is unbeatable, everything I love in Stockholm is within a 10 min walk. Enjoyed the iconic views onto the square. Enjoyed a free room upgrade half-way through my stay
Disliked: The whole hotel needs an update, the rooms especially are quite dated. Sauna and steam room in bad condition. Service on the whole was a bit chaotic
