A beautiful location, charming house...

Liked: The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The staff at breakfast were very attentive and the food was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable and we were warm and slept very well. I loved the interior design and overall look of the communal rooms. We were offered complimentary tea and cake on arrival which was a nice touch. The toiletries were a good quality and they had really thought about what guests would appreciate with little extras and quality coffee and biscuits.
Disliked: I had booked a different room to the one we ended up in. We were told in arrival we had been upgraded but the room was not of the same standard as the other rooms. It had charm but didn't look finished or at least was tired looking. The water pressure was very low and the toilet didn't flush properly. We walked past other vacant rooms which looked very polished and of a very good standard, so we were disappointed.

#1 B&B in Helensburgh

Liked: We had a very warm welcome! Could definitely say it the best place to stay in Helensburgh. The room was cosy and well furnished and the setting was incredible. 5 minutes from the station and a 15 minute walk into the town centre. Incredible choice for breakfast, really enjoyed the whisky porridge!! Such amazing hosts and such a lovely b&b to stay at! We will be back again in the near future :)
