Liked: A place that made me feel Scotland. Nice interior and delicious Scottish breakfast. Wonderful beach scenery. A very suitable place to rest.
Disliked: One of the two rooms I booked had a broken shower hot water..

Lovely house, lovely location, great...

Liked: Lovely location, lovely building, lovely room. The staff were excellent and could not have done more to make my stay enjoyable. They were looking out for my arrival, helped me find somewhere to park, and ensured I had everything I needed. They were attentive, friendly and efficient.
Disliked: It would have been better if the curtains in my room had been blackout curtains. The sun filled my room with light quite early in the morning.

Really lovely and I'd love...

Liked: Stunning location and a sea view from my room. Very comfortable, warm, lovely bed, spacious. I had a great night's sleep. Everyone was really friendly and breakfast was superb.

Good value, great breakfast

Liked: Great communication prior to arriving and met with a warm welcome from the owner Catherine. Breakfast was top quality and served by the lovely Debs who was extremely friendly and chatty.
Disliked: The shower didn’t work, but the owner was obviously unaware there was a problem and was very apologetic. The rooms were very small and there was no view at all from ours and only a side view from the other we were offered. We opted for the no view room as the bed was bigger, so worth checking before you book if a view is important to you. It is a bit tired and worn around the edges and not what I would call ‘luxury’ but you will receive a warm welcome from friendly hosts It would have been nice if we had been offered a small discount due to not being able to have a shower, but overall it was good value for money anyway.
