Lovely stay in traditional bed...

Liked: The no 45 is a period property in lovely residential area in Newington. There were a lot of buses to city centre and future ahead nearby so it was easy to get around.The host was lovely and looked after me very well, even getting up to prepare breakfast for me when I had a very early start. My room was small but big enough for a solo traveller with plenty of storage. All was very clean and well looked after. The room had a private bathroom in the corridor which was ok for me. A robe was provided so it made those early morning trips to bathroom more comfortable.

Very disappointing, not worth the...

Liked: The pictures of the room look very nice, but the actual room is quite old, and the bathroom is very small.
Disliked: The staff is very well, and the breakfast is really disappointing, consisting only of cereal, a few slices of cheese and ham. The heating is not good, and the room gets very cold at night.

Charming guesthouse

Liked: Coming from a dormatory the night before, this is heaven. Nice area, flowers in the garden. Comfy clean bed and a private bathroom. Host was really nice and helpful and server a delicious breakfast in the morning. Buses go frequently to city center.

Liked: this accommodation is just great. charming, clean, nicely furnished, thoughtfully designed. we loved it. In addition, the location was brilliant - quiet, but easy access to several bus routes, some good pubs and restaurants within walking distance. And Irene was a great, helpful, incredibly friendly hostess.
