A Fantastic Georgian House steeped...

Liked: The evening meal in the Hotel was probably the best meal we have had this year, each mouthful had a different taste and all the meal was cooked to perfection. The breakfast was cooked to order and again it was delivered hot and without any delay. Our room 15 did not have air conditioning but because it had high ceilings and opening windows it didn't matter. There is a bonus that Georgian all residents of the hotel receive a 15% discount off the menu price for the evening meal. It was great to stay in a Georgian House steeped in history made over the last 200 yrs.
Disliked: Nothing at all.

Beautiful hotel, comfy stay, quiet...

Liked: Furnished to a high standard, spacious room, comfy bed, powerful shower, quiet location. Staff let us check in an hour early which was much appreciated after an early morning flight!
Disliked: A little bit further out of town, but this is reflected in the price and wasn’t a problem!

Very good

Liked: It was tastefully decorated a little in need of a Reno on the outside
Disliked: The room we were given was small , it also had no refrigerator, the property had no lifts and we were on the top floor having to carry heavy luggage up 4 flights of stairs Also this hotel I chose to pay at property however the property tried to charge my card the day before arriving which caused me a bit of anguish, as I upload my travel card when needed for safety reasons.

Provided the perfect last night...

Liked: The hotel was very classy and had perfect old school Edinburgh charm with modern style. It was our last night in Edinburgh after living there for ten years and it was the most lovely send-off we could've hoped for. The restaurant also blew our minds. Felt very underrated! Each course was incredible and the service was great.

Tattoo & fringe weekend

Liked: Nice large room. Biscuits, crisps etc a nice touch.
Disliked: Basement room which proved to be very dark at all times. Another lamp needed so that u didn't need the ceiling lights on all the time. Fridge extremely small!
