Nightcap at Gateway Hotel

Great place to stay, would...

Liked: Option of room service is amazing just wished breakfast was available before 9am as we had to leave at 8. Room was tidy and neat, beautiful art and lights above the beds. Shower was great and it had nice body wash, shampoo & conditioner. Food buffet is a place for sure !
Disliked: The wifi was extremely slow when using YouTube in the tv each video struggled to load and paused every minute or so to try load itself.

Lifesaver

Liked: We made a last minute booking an hour before e checked in, as our flight from Avalon got cancelled and we decided to stay somewhere close to the airport for an early flight next morning. Staff were incredibly friendly, organised, calm and helpful despite a surge of other impacted passengers who also did the same thing. Angels in a helluva night. Beds were super comfy and entire room was large and clean. Exceeded my expectations for a pub/motel. Thanks heaps!!

Liked: Comfy bed clean room and a short walk to the bistro.
Disliked: The noisy neighbours that kept us awake most of the night. Not the fault of the owners as they did contact them to keep the noise down.
