Liked: Extremely Disappointing Stay Due to Noise and Poor ServiceI regret to share my very poor experience at Nightcap at Belgian Beer Café. After returning from a basketball game at RAC Arena, we were ready to rest, but it was impossible to sleep due to extremely loud live music and instruments coming from the bar above the Afro restaurant at 49 King Street, directly opposite the hotel.We attempted to sleep from 11:00 pm, but by 1:56 am the noise was still ongoing, making it completely impossible to rest. This is highly unacceptable for accommodation that charges guests for overnight stays.We raised the issue with the key holder of the hotel and even called the police to report the disturbance. I also approached a staff member at the bar, but instead of being helpful, he was unreasonably rude, which only added to the frustration.For a hotel to disregard such basic standards of hospitality and rest is extremely disappointing. I strongly urge management to address these serious issues. Until then, I cannot recommend this property to any traveller seeking a comfortable and respectful environment. Music was quite about 3am.I request to get refund and also as the key holder last night let me know the hotel will refund the charge
