As we remembered from last...

Liked: Staff on reception were helpful and on the ball. On the riverside our room had a great view and the massive expanse of windows and the elevation of the room both took advantage of the view. We liked the ‘see-through’ bathroom. The bed was comfortable, bedclothes ample and lights, air-con etc worked well. Breakfast was generous and good value for money. Our second stay and it won’t be our last.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like. Everything was good or better.

Liked: Great location for pre-cruise stay with easy access to the metro and walking distance to 2-3 great neighborhoods.Check-in staff and the young lady who checked us in was tremendous!
Disliked: Breakfast service our first day was average at best. Several tables didn’t have silverware laid out and some wasn’t being replenished. Our 2nd morning the breakfast experience was much better. It was like someone had turned a switch on and the overall experience was very good. Didn’t appreciate the additional fee for early check-in when the room was available after a long flight.

Perfect stay for the urban...

Liked: The hotel is located right next to the Erasmus bridge from where you can reach different parts of Rotterdam easily, either by walking, using public transport or one of the many scooters for rent. The view from our room in the 18th floor was spectacular. We could watch the ships passing by and the light playing in the skyline full of skyscrapers endlessly. The breakfast is particularly noteworthy as it refreshingly different than those standard breakfast buffets we know from so many boring hotels.
Disliked: The room was well cleaned upon our arrival but was then barely cleaned during our stay at least in some parts. Dust collected in the corners and on the desk. No big deal but it could be improved.
